Below Ground
By isolating the foundation and buried walls from ground temperatures, Outsulation reduces heat loss through floors and basement walls, crucial for optimizing a building's thermal performance.
External insulation keeps the structure of below-ground walls and floors insulated; removing the risk of condensation and improving the thermal mass of the property.
Below Ground Insulation Options
IKO Enertherm PIR can be used for the thermal insulation of floors, either below or within a concrete slab, or below ground walls.
Nuralite offers waterproofing membranes that are compatible with tanking options in all of these situations
Benefits
-
Very light and easy to install
-
Closed cell ensures it absorbs very little moisture.
-
High compressive strength so can be used under the slab.
