PIR insulation products have a high level of fire performance due to their closed cell construction, making them excellent for insulated Building solutions.

With their production origins in Europe, IKO Enertherm has been extensively tested to UK and European fire standards, both as a simple insulation board and as part of a system, or classified as "in use".

These tests have been compared to the AS/NZS fire standards, and this comparison meets the requirements of the NZBC, for use in NZ.

 

To highlight the level of performance, the videos show a fire scenario at three different stages, and the results. The characteristics and process that the board goes through over the videos shows the performance levels required.
